Hi, my name is Caroline (yes, another one)!

After a long career working in the corporate sector as a PA, software programmer, then graphic and web design, I completely retrained to follow my interests in health and wellbeing.  I studied at the University of the West of England in Health Sciences.  I have a Foundation Degree (FBSc) in Complementary Therapy (specialising in all forms of massage and Precision Reflexology) and a BSc (Hons) in Specialist Practice (Health Sciences).  I was self-employed for over 10 years , then discovered a genetic heart condition I didn't know I had and had major open-heart surgery in 2024.  It was a huge shock and subsequent lifestyle change. Surgery didn't work as well as hoped and after many further procedures I am now in heart-failure and need to avoid stress.

I have always helped others out with websites, graphic design, social media and teaching IT skills in the local community, for charities and business start-ups.  So, when I met Caroline through Celia (Director of Carousel) who is one of my oldest friends, we hit it off and now I help out with the website, social media and general help and advice on all things technical. 

 

I admire the work Carousel does and am happy to support them in any way I can.
