Our fabulous Carousel Music & Movement group for people with learning needs got together at Trinity Methodist URC in Skelmersdale to raise funds for the new Memories R Made Choir for people with dementia, which is a free weekly event and starts in Skelmersdale from Thursday 11th January 2024 at Trinity Methodist URC.
It was a brilliant afternoon, with a lot of laughing, entertainment, singing along, a raffle and a bit of dancing too. All our members received a certificate from Councillor Marilyn Westley, who consistently supports Carousel and who always attends our events. Along with family and friends, we were supported by our ambassador Carl Eaton and Maureen Fazal from the Sewing Rooms.
We raised well over £400 for the Skelmersdale MRM choir, which is a great start to the New Year. Our thanks to everyone who entertained and all of our supporters. Merry Christmas!
