3 Cheers for Carers!

Did you know that the ONS (Office for National Statistics) estimates that there are 5.7 million carers in the UK with 1 in 7 juggling work and care. They contribute a staggering £162 billion to the economy every year, that's £145 million every day!

Sadly over a quarter of carers feel lonely often or always, according to Carers UK. It seems unfair given that they dedicate a lot of their time caring for others. They're compassionate and often find themselves in challenging circumstances having to manage alone.

When carers come to our events, we include them every step of the way and we know that without them their charges wouldn't be able to attend and we wouldn't be able to reach them. We are so thankful to the carers in this country and the hard work and dedication that they commit to...... 3 Cheers for Carers!
